Walk, Salcombe Regis Hill

We had perfect weather for this 5 mile walk with spectacular views and abundant wild flowers - Bluebells evrywhere and Jo spotted a Stinkhorn fungus or shall I say smelt it ! .  We walked  through the Donkey sanctuary and called in at the pretty Salcombe Regis church to see the intricate glass engraving by Whistler behind the alter. Kate spotted a deer enjoying the sunshine as we made our way back through the woods to the car park .

A great walk enjoyed by all despite the demanding climb.

The Norman Lockyer Observatory was not open this afternon , however we plan to organise an evening visit later in the summer , so anyone interested keep a check on the calendar
